Cancellation and Missed Appointment Policy

At Kneading Therapy, appointment times are reserved specifically for each client. To ensure availability for all clients and efficient scheduling, the following cancellation policy applies.
Cancellation Notice
Clients are asked to provide a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours’ notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Notice may be provided by:
- Telephone
- Online booking system (where available)
Late Cancellations
Appointments cancelled with less than twenty-four (24) hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to up to fifty percent (50%) of the scheduled treatment fee.
Missed Appointments (No-Shows)
A missed appointment occurs when a client does not attend a scheduled appointment and provides no notice.
Missed appointments may be charged up to one hundred percent (100%) of the scheduled treatment fee.
Late Arrivals
Clients arriving late may receive a shortened treatment session to avoid delaying subsequent appointments.
The full treatment fee may still apply.
Exceptional Circumstances
Cancellation fees may be waived at the discretion of the clinic in cases involving:
- Serious illness
- Medical emergencies
- Family emergencies
- Severe weather events
- Other unforeseen circumstances
Outstanding Fees
Outstanding cancellation or missed appointment fees may be required to be paid before future appointments can be scheduled.
Policy Acceptance
By booking an appointment, clients acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation and Missed Appointment Policy.
