Insurance and Direct Billing Policy

Kneading Therapy offers direct billing as a convenience service when available.
Direct Billing Is Not Guaranteed
Direct billing is a courtesy service only.
Submission of claims does not guarantee:
- Coverage approval;
- Payment by an insurer;
- Eligibility for reimbursement; or
- Acceptance of a claim.
Insurance coverage remains the responsibility of the client.
Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for:
- Verifying insurance eligibility;
- Confirming policy coverage;
- Understanding annual limits;
- Confirming referral requirements (if applicable);
- Understanding deductibles and co-payments.
Payment Responsibility
Clients remain fully responsible for all treatment fees regardless of:
- Insurance coverage decisions;
- Denied claims;
- Delayed claims;
- Partial reimbursements;
- Incorrect insurance information.
Any unpaid balance must be paid by the client upon request.
Insurance Information
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and current:
- Policy numbers;
- Certificate numbers;
- Member identification numbers;
- Employer information where applicable.
Claim Denials
If a claim is denied, reduced, delayed, or rejected for any reason, the client remains responsible for the outstanding balance.
Privacy and Consent
By requesting direct billing services, clients authorize Kneading Therapy to disclose necessary information to their insurance provider for the purpose of processing claims and receiving payment.
Changes to Coverage
Insurance policies and coverage may change at any time. Clients are encouraged to verify coverage directly with their insurer before each appointment.
Policy Acceptance
By using direct billing services, clients acknowledge and agree to this Direct Billing Policy.
